About Me

About Me

I'm a native Vermonter, recent graduate, student of Japanese for over 7 years and I want to share my journey with you!

I first traveled to Japan in 2008 as a high school student and became absolutely smitten with the country, people, culture, and food.

As a college student, I studied abroad at International Christian University (国際基督教大学) in Tokyo, Japan.

Now, I have embarked on the next chapter in my life journey as my partner and I make the move to Tanabe (田辺市) in Wakayama prefecture (和歌山県) where I am a Coordinator of International Relations (CIR) with the JET Program.

About Japan, Etc.

Follow my blog for posts on Japanese study, travel, music, culture, food (lots and lots of food...mmm), the JET Program, my partners' experience working for an eikaiwa, and other bits and pieces about living in Japan! All content is original unless stated otherwise.

Thank you for visiting & I hope you'll come back soon!
