I've been meaning to start up a blog and I suppose that the start of a new semester is as good a time as any!
My main goal will be to post Japanese study materials - mostly flashcards - as I make them throughout the semester. Last semester I began making flashcards for new vocabulary and kanji for each chapter of Genki II. I spent so much time making them that it would be a shame to just never use them again. I figured that I would share them with the hope that other students could benefit.
To make my flashcards I use Anki, a free program that uses spaced repetition of information to allow for efficient and effective study of material. In the next day or so I plan on uploading flashcards for the entire Genki II textbook with an explanation of how I personally use them to study.
